TaylorMade-adidas Golf reports record third quarter revenue
TaylorMade-adidas Golf has reported a 19% increase in revenue for the quarter ended 30th September 2001 compared with the same quarter last year. For the first nine months of the year there has been a 22% increase in revenue. The majority of the company’s revenue growth was fuelled by continued strength in its Asian and European operations

New pump system saves course from fire
Vila Sol, in the Algarve, was saved from an invading bush fire when Flowtronex Europe’s recently installed pump house pumped out more than 250 cubic metres per hour to the fire-fighters out on the perimeter of the course

PING sets new standards
PING Europe Ltd has become the first British-based golf company to achieve ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certification. At the same time Gainsborough Golf Club, which is owned by PING Europe Limited, also achieved ISO Certification Status. It is believed that Gainsborough is the first golf club to achieve this
