Open Championship back at Hoylake after 39 years
The Open Championship will return to Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake on The Wirral in 2006. Past concerns about lack of infrastructure, space and traffic management will be met as a result of a three-way agreement signed by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, Royal Liverpool Golf Club and the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral

Czech plans for growth of golf
In the past five years the number of golf courses has doubled. The Czech Golf Federation has recognised the need to plan a strategy for the next 10 – 25 years. Swan Golf Designs has been commissioned to study the feasibility of the provision of facilities for golf throughout the country and the R&A is providing funding for this work
