An invitation from Campey

12.05am 7th May 2002 - Corporate

Want to discover the latest in turf maintenance equipment this summer? Then just go along to one of the Campey Turf Care Systems ‘Working Demonstration Days’, being held on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th June 2002, at the go-ahead company’s headquarters in Marton, near Macclesfield in Cheshire.

Groundsmen and greenkeepers will be able to inspect first-hand and see working demonstrations of, all the specialist equipment distributed by Campeys throughout the UK. This includes Koro sports turf renovation machinery, Nunes high work-rate mowers and Poyntz Dakota turf tenders that can move materials, top-dress, and carry out a host of other important tasks.

Campeys are also dealers for leading manufacturers, who will be participating at the Open Days as well. These companies will include such well-known names as Charterhouse Turf Machinery, Dennis, Saxon Industries, Trimax Mowing Systems and New Holland Tractors.

Visitors will be able to inspect the latest machines on each company’s stand and operate some under actual working conditions. A special feature at the beginning of both days will be a Grand Parade, where each supplier will have two minutes to highlight the merits of a particularly innovative piece of equipment to the assembled audience.

“We’re hoping that on both Open Days we’ll be basking in the summer sunshine,” says managing director Richard Campey. “We’ll certainly provide a warm welcome and the hottest turf machinery available. It will be a day to remember.”
