Buggy brokerage

9.00am 26th February 2002 - Corporate

Abingdon-based RJT290 Limited has launched the golf industry’s first brokerage for new and used golf buggies covering all the major manufacturers on the market. As a broker for golf buggies and associated equipment RJT290 aims to fill an important gap in the market, proving independent advice for both commercial and private users.

Headed up by managing director Paul Male and director Alan Clarke, RJT290 offers years of experience in the golf buggy market. “Working with leading brands such as Club Car, we have an excellent knowledge of the buggy requirements for the majority of commercial uses in the UK,” said Paul Male. “This is a niche market where people need expert help to decide on the right choice of buggy product from petrol and electric powered vehicles to the correct options on the vehicles themselves.”

RJT290 can arrange supply and delivery of any make of golf buggies for outright purchase or to rent. The company is capable of handling any size of project, including the specification and supply of large golf buggy fleets. As well as providing help in choosing the right product, RJT290 also offers advice on how to promote and maintain the buggies to maximise income.

Where suitable, RJT290 will purchase unwanted buggies, opening up opportunities to buy new machines or to provide valuable cash. The company can also arrange insurance cover and full maintenance programmes.

To complement the independent broker service, the expanding selection of buggies at RJT290 includes the new single seat electric buggy from Velden Eagle. The RJT fleet also offers new, ex-demo and used petrol and electric Club Car buggies.

“Our stock of buggies and other vehicles changes on a daily basis,” said Paul Male. “All the customer needs to do is call us and we can procure the products they want.”
