Clubhaus PLC has today announced the successful opening of the new health club at Mapledurham Golf and Health Club with pre-sales of over 1,000 new memberships.

Mapledurham represents the second health club opened by Clubhaus in the last few weeks bringing the UK total up to five. Nizels Golf and Country Club was opened on 10th April adding over 2,200 new members to the existing membership roster. In addition, The Tytherington Golf and Country Club has recently undergone a major refurbishment of its leisure facilities. Membership has increased by almost 20% since the beginning of the year.

In addition to these three clubs the health facility at Castle Royle continues to perform strongly with target membership already achieved, as does Mentmore where 150 new health members have been added since the beginning of 2000.

The Meyrick Park health club will be opening this summer and the company reports that pre-sales have started encouragingly, whilst construction of a health club at The Warwickshire will commence in the second half of this year.

Clubhaus PLC results for the three months ended 31st March 2000 will be announced later this month.
