Club Systems International (CSI), the UK and Ireland’s leading producer of golf club IT systems, is to go on the road again in early 2015, as it visits 14 golf clubs across Great Britain to showcase its market-leading products.
The series of roadshows will update club managers, secretaries and owners on the improvements made to the cloud-based ClubV1 administration system, which is now a year old and already in use at 280 clubs.
Leading the CSI team at the roadshows will be the company’s new customer relationship manager, Darren Wood, who is keen to demonstrate what he believes is the “most user-friendly admin software on the market today”.
He explained: “I’ve been out and about to introduce myself to some of our existing customers but this roadshow will give me the opportunity to meet even more and to greet potential new clients.
“The roadshow has been scheduled to make it accessible for most clubs – most will have a venue within an hour’s drive making it a feasible and worthwhile day out for them. Registration is as easy as logging on to the website. However, places are limited on each day and booking is essential.”
Since the successful 2014 ‘tour’ took the ClubV1 system on the road, more than 280 clubs have switched to run the system with another 250 waiting to convert from their existing model.
Sidcup Golf Club switched to ClubV1 in early 2014 and club secretary Steve Armstrong said: “The ClubV1 system is a very user-friendly piece of software that has enabled our club to link together all our previous databases and websites.”
Paul Coombes, men’s handicap secretary, at the Warren Golf & Country Club, in Essex, which converted to ClubV1 in March, echoed his sentiments, adding: “It’s a quality system with good support.”
And Stuart Clement, handicap secretary at Morlais Castle GC, added, succinctly: “It’s an excellent system!”
The 14-venue roadshow launches on January 27, at Deesside GC, Aberdeenshire, and culminates with a visit to Cardiff GC, on March 12, and staff will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate the whole of the Club Systems International range.
This includes MerlinTouch EPoS – which is now available via a rental scheme; the new PSiTouch screens, enabling forward booking, competition sign-in, score entry and swipe card transaction history; PSiBoard (Player Score Information Board), displaying live current information to members and guests; and CSiSites, the website design service which integrates sites with club software.
