David Morgan joins Ransomes Jacobsen as Product Manager

David Morgan has joined Ransomes Jacobsen as Product Manager, reporting to Richard Comely, the company’s Director of Marketing and Product Management.

In this role he will manage the development and enhancement of all Ipswich designed and built Ransomes and Jacobsen branded products and liaise with colleagues at the Charlotte facility in North Carolina, USA with regard to the Jacobsen product line. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company and one of the leading manufacturers of commercial mowing and turf maintenance equipment, based at Ipswich in Suffolk,United Kingdom.

David graduated from Coventry University with a Design and Technology degree and is currently completing the final module of an MBA. On leaving university he worked as Design Engineer for Boniface Engineering in Thetford, designing specialist vehicle recovery equipment. Most recently he was an Aircraft Manager at Marshall Aerospace inCambridge, maintaining and modifying Lockheed Martin C130J aircraft for various European Ministries of Defence.

He will be based at the company’s International headquarters in Ipswich, commuting from Barrow inSuffolkwhere he lives with his wife Natasha.

Commenting on the appointment Richard Comely said: “David is the final piece in the jigsaw following the recent management changes at director level, backfilling the Product Management position. He has an excellent technical background and will be a great asset to the business, going forward. I am delighted to welcome David to the team.”
