Invented by British PGA professional Luther Blacklock, head of instruction at Woburn Golf & Country Club, the Explanar, endorsed by Butch Harmon, enables a golfer to train his or her golfing muscles in their optimum swing plane.
The combination of the hoop, the Plane Fin (a reference point at the top of the back swing and follow through), the Radial Stance Mat (designed to help golfers learn how to hit intentional draw, fade and high and low shots) and the Power Roller (a weighted roller that promotes training and retraining of the muscles required to build a powerful and dynamic swing).
