The Danish software company GolfBox A/S is to provide England Golf with new tournament software for the next three years.

GolfBox A/S officially launched the new tournament software at the beginning of the 2014 season and has received massive interest in the product from all over the world.

England Golf is set to use the software for their entire official championship schedule; they follow The R&A and the other home Unions, Scotland and Wales, who have used the new tournament software from GolfBox in the recent 2014 season.

“We are extremely excited that England Golf has decided to use our new tournament software. Recognition from one of the major golf unions is something that we are very proud of”, says GolfBox CEO Christian Faergemann.

Christian Faergemann adds “When we decided to reinvest in our tournament software package a little over 3 year ago, we hoped to achieve a significant upgrade in mobility and usability – by the interest and feedback received during the past year, we are very pleased and expect the list of customers to grown significantly in the near future”.

GolfBox A/S is one of the major software suppliers on the European market and they service more than 900 clubs and many golf associations, among them are Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgian, France, Scotland and Wales. The tournament software is also used by The R&A and The European Golf Association.

In 2014 the new tournament software from GolfBox software was used for more than 35.000 tournaments all over the world.
