GolfBuddy, a worldwide leader in the golf GPS and laser rangefinder market, has launched a free 18-hole demo programme at more than 50 UK golf courses.
Working with Foremost Golf, for whom it is an Approved Supplier and supporter of the Elite Marketing Programme, GolfBuddy has sent trial units of its PT4 handheld GPS, LR4 laser rangefinder and WT5 watch GPS to local PGA Pros for use by any of their members or visitors.
The demo programme is being supported by email blasts to golf club members, encouraging them to book a trial. Posters are also being used around the golf clubs to promote the event – which started on June 12 and is the first time GolfBuddy has offered free unit trials on a large scale.
John Ennis, GolfBuddy Global Head of Sales and Marketing, said: “GolfBuddy walks courses on foot to create extremely detailed and accurate maps. We believe golfers can only fully appreciate the benefits of this improved accuracy over our competitors when out on the course.
“It’s also a great way for the PGA Pro to sell more units. We know many GolfBuddys are bought straight off the shelf – but a try-before-you-buy demo scheme will certainly assist a Pro to demonstrate why owning a GPS or laser is a great way to play better, shoot lower scores, or just enjoy the game more.”
GolfBuddy is the only Distance Measuring Device (DMD) brand which offers products to suit all golfers, however they want to receive distance information – laser rangefinder (LR4), GPS handheld devices (PT4), GPS watches (WT5, WT4), compact audio GPS (VS4) and now wearable tech GPS (BB5).
GolfBuddy is also the only company that focuses 100% on golf, maps courses on foot for added accuracy and provides completely fee-free access to its extensive worldwide database of courses. Premium features like Dynamic Green View, distances to targets, hazards and round stats analysis are also completely fee-free, forever, with all products.
GolfBuddy is based in La Palma, Ca, with product development and course data management centres in Korea, one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality electronic products.
GolfBuddy is a Corporate Partner with the PGAs of Europe as its ‘official handheld GPS rangefinder’.
