Greenmaster to distribute Punctus Software

12.20am 4th August 2006 - Corporate

Developers of grounds management software, Punctus, have announced that Greenmaster Ltd will be distributing its market leading product Punctus Greens in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
Greenmaster is run by Master Greenkeeper John Quinn whose experience in the turf industry will provide support to the implementation of the software. John told us, “Punctus Greens is a great fit with our liquid fertiliser treatments and enables us to provide managed and effective turf health regimes.”
“We have a perfect match,” says Harvard Talkenberg of Punctus. “Both companies strive to give excellent service. And – as strange as it may sound – fertilisers are software-driven products! We will see more and better service for our customers in the future by combining our strengths.
“Punctus Greens is an electronic diary and office manager. It makes the daily organisation and management of golf courses easier by managing men, equipment and materials. Five to ten minutes are usually enough for daily inputs. These cover all common areas: personnel, course maintenance, machine maintenance etc… The resulting reports provide an excellent basis for communication and decision-making.”
Harvard says that users of Punctus do not need to be computer experts because it is truly easy to use. One of the first customers in the UK exclaimed, “This so easy. If I can do this everybody else can!” Even the often feared period of getting accustomed to a new tool is broadly described as absolutely smooth. Free phone support helps to overcome all troubles.
Punctus Greens is a flexible tool. Having its roots in golf it is an equally practical tool in the offices of groundsmen or maintenance personnel in the amenity sector. John Quinn can be contacted at Greenmaster, Tel: 0800 027 6561 and Punctus@greenmaster.co.uk
