Impressive growth at UK Golf Services

12.20am 9th December 2005 - Corporate

UK Golf Services, guardians of the Ram Golf and Stuburt brands, has this week announced its year end results which give an insight into another impressive year for the Uxbridge based company.
Whilst many brands experience moderate business in a somewhat stagnated market place, both Ram and Stuburt continue to flourish. The company’s turnover in the year to October 2005 was up 20% on the previous year, with profits exceeding £1m. Early indications suggest that this positive trend shows no sign of abating with the first month’s pre-bookings already up 30%.
“In a challenging market place we are delighted with the continued growth and success of both Ram and Stuburt,” commented Graeme Stevens, managing director UK Golf Services. “The bedrock of our success and focus remains the development of innovative new products which continue to outperform their highly competitive price points, appealing to golfers of all levels. Furthermore, we recognise that service is key to success in our industry and we are therefore constantly taking steps to ensure that our recent growth does not have a detrimental effect on the exceptional service we provide our clients with.”
Whilst Ram continues to reinforce its position as the leading brand in the mass value market with the imminent launch of an impressive new FX9 lead range for 2006, much of the company’s recent success has been underpinned by the resurgence of Stuburt.
Further enhancing its range of performance footwear with the forthcoming launch of the Profile ‘S’, already the shoe of choice of leading golfer, David Howell, the introduction of an innovative new range of rain suits and shirts also signals its intent to position itself at the heart of the performance outerwear market.
Incorporating the latest performance fabrics and technologies at hugely competitive prices, the inaugural range will be available from December with models to suit all golfers.
With such major new product launches planned for the first quarter of 2006, the new year heralds continued growth and success for UK Golf Services and a busy time for its highly experienced and dedicated sales team.
