Ingersoll-Rand Reports First Quarter Records

The Specialty Vehicles segment includes Club Car golf cars and utility vehicles, Bobcat skid-steer loaders and mini excavators, Ingersoll-Rand compactors, drilling equipment and rough-terrain material handlers. This segment’s sales totalled $582.4 million for the first quarter of 1999 an 8% increase over 1998 first quarter sales. The Company reports that all of the product lines in this segment achieved strong sales growth.
