For those in central England and north London who can’t get to Augusta for this year’s Masters Tournament, iPlayGolfUK may have the next best thing.
iPlayGolfUK, the UK’s newest multi-screen indoor golfing sports bar, is throwing Masters Party from Thursday 9th till Sunday 12th April – and it’s free to attend.
From 7pm till late each night (from 6pm on Sunday), the Masters golf will be screened live on iPlayGolf’s 60” TV screen. Throughout each evening there will also be fun golf challenges staged on the venue’s five giant golf simulator screens, open to the public, with spot prizes to be won.
There’s also a special Masters Par Three event on the night of Wednesday 8th April.
Golfers can even book a place in the venue’s VIP room for waitress service and a free buffet, where they and their friends can watch the Masters on a giant 4.5m x 3m screen in comfort at just £10 per head.
For thirsty golf fans iPlayGolf’s ace barman Nick Clutton has created some special Masters-themed cocktails – including an alcohol-free choice, naturally. ‘The Green Jacket’ is a lively blend of Crème de Menthe, green Chartreuse and Jamesons whisky, while ‘The Bobby Jones’ is a tart mix of brandy, Crème de Cacao, grenadine and fresh lemon. Five other Masters Cocktails are available each night.
