The Motocaddy S1 trolley has won the prestigious ‘Electric trolley of the Year’ title for the second consecutive year at the Foremost Golf industry awards in Harrogate.

The Foremost Golf group in the UK and Ireland is made up of almost 1,000 golf professionals and the three Motocaddy trolley nominations received over 85% of the votes cast for the coveted trolley sector.

Following the same accolade for the S1 last year, the world’s top-selling powered trolley has continued to go from strength to strength and is widely recognised as the most popular powered trolley on the market.

“We’re delighted to win this award for the second year running,” said Neil Parker, Motocaddy Sales Director. “To receive such a high percentage of votes from many of our valued retailers is testament to the support we receive and we will continue to work hard to develop future product innovations and offer even better service,” he added.

The S1 offers a sporty look thanks to ergonomic handle grips and low-profile wheels, while an easy-to-use speed control button and nine speed settings ensures the trolley is simple to operate for all golfers.

The S-Series trolley frame is based on an aerospace-grade aluminium S-shaped design that is both ultra-lightweight and sturdy. A simple locking system and quick-release wheels allow it to be folded down for easy transportation and opened without any fuss at the golf course.

Other benefits to golfers include its innovative EASILOCKTM bag-to-trolley connection system, adjustable bag supports, whisper quiet 200w motor and universal battery tray – designed to hold a variety of battery options.

The S1 electric trolley is available in Black or Alpine white finishes at leading Pro Shops and retail outlets across the UK from £299.99 with 18-hole Lead-acid battery, £329.99 for a 36-hole equivalent or the super-efficient and lightweight Lithium batteries starting at £449.99 for 18-holes and £499.99 for the 36-hole option.
