Mox moves

12.05am 2nd December 2002 - Corporate

Mox UK Ltd, specialists in the contract hire of golf cars, has recently moved into spacious new premises on the Wildmere Industrial Park in Banbury, two minutes from the M40. Previously working out of two premises, one in Redditch and one near Wantage, the move means the storage of all vehicles and service parts, as well as support services, are under one roof.

Mox International is part of the Lease Plan Group, a worldwide leader in car rental. The Lease Plan Group, in turn, is a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO one of the largest banks in the world. Mox International operates in France, Spain and the UK. They have over 10,000 vehicles on hire and have sold a further 3,000. With their wide experience in the hire industry and their financial strength, they can give each of their customers the service to suit their individual needs.

The company has ambitious plan for expansion. Looking carefully at the UK market, they believe there is still considerable growth to be had for golf vehicles and light industrial vehicles. Not only do they have their sights set on vehicles, they are also offering contract hire on commercial turf machinery. Operating out of Banbury to begin with, Mox is confident that this part of the business will grow quickly and will soon need separate premises.

Commenting on the move general manager Campbell Young said, “This move is an important part of our long term strategy in the UK. Having everything under one roof will help us to give an even better service to our vehicle customers as well as enabling us to develop our turf and industrial business.”
