“You’re never more than sixty minutes away from test-driving a Stewart”: That’s the proud boast of Gloucestershire-based premium trolley manufacturer Stewart Golf after it announced a new joint venture with Europe’s largest specialist golf retailer.

It has teamed up with american golf to put a fleet of X7 Lithium remote control trolleys into 19 of its UK stores. Each of the two american golf Tour Trucks, which travel the length and breadth of the country visiting stores and golf events, also have a X7 on board.

Stewart’s X7 Lithium is the UK’s finest remote control trolley, with thousands sold since the launch of the first X1 Remote in 2004.

MD Mark Stewart said: “For the first time, no UK golfer will ever be more than an hour away from being able to see, touch and test-drive an X7 Lithium. These trolleys are permanently based in the stores so customers can be assured that they won’t be disappointed if they want a demonstration.

“Even if someone’s local store isn’t one of the ones with a permanent trolley, every time one of the Tour Trucks comes to visit it’ll have an X7 with it.”

Customers’ orders are always placed directly with the Stewart Golf factory, where their X7 Lithium is hand-built to order before being delivered to the customer – usually within 5-7 days.

The american golf stores with permanent demonstration X7 Lithium trolleys are: Braid Hills in Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Gateshead, Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Doncaster, Meadowhall in Sheffield, Merry Hill (near Dudley), Telford, Biggleswade, Braintree, New Malden, Thurrock, Romford, Swindon, Slough, Cardiff, Eastleigh, Brighton and Exeter

To celebrate the arrival of the fleet, everyone who buys a new X7 Lithium will receive a free Stewart Golf Classic putter worth £149 hand-made to their own specification. (terms and conditions apply, whilst stocks last).
