Softspikes®/PrideSports, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat in Golf, was worn by winners in the European Tour DP World Championship, the Australian Masters and the LPGA CME Globe Tour Championship.

Softspikes represented three different cleats over the weekend of 21-21 November, Pulsar®, Cyclone Ice™ and Black Widow®. These cleats are each unique and perfect for different terrains. The Pulsar cleat is a soft cleat that allows for flexibility, the Cyclone Ice cleat is a multi-material cleat that has an advanced rotational design to hold up on any surface, and the Black Widow cleat is the original cleat that has eight legs for full traction and comfort on the golf course.

“We are very excited that players on the European, Australian and LPGA tours relied on the dynamic properties of the Softspikes cleats.” said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports.  “Softspikes has been the leader in golf traction systems and innovation since the early 1990’s and to see this nonstop success with yet another sweep of the major tours shows continued promise for the future.”

Softspikes patented Dynamic Cleat Technology allows its cleats to be responsive to all terrains – Tee Boxes, Fairways, Roughs, and Greens – providing confidence on every swing of the club. In other words, longer drives, better iron shots and lower scores.

PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. This acquisition essentially formed the world’s premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world’s leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
