Specialist golf course equipment available to hire

10.00am 13th December 2000 - Corporate

Leading ground-scare equipment hire company Swan Plant Services is expanding its fleet to include a comprehensive range of machines for golf courses.

“We have traditionally concentrated on hiring out equipment to local authorities and contractors,” says managing director Ted Mitchell, “but there is a growing demand from golf clubs who need specialist equipment, such as aerators, for short periods of time and from municipal courses who may not have the funds available to invest in new machinery.”

Swan’s new 2001 catalogue, due out at the end of December, will feature a range of top quality machines from established manufacturers such as John Deere and SISIS. These include mowers for tees, greens and fairways, bunker rakes, aerators and ‘Gator’ utility vehicles, all clearly identified with their respective weekly hire rates.

The Swan Service hire package includes delivery and collection of fully serviced equipment, call out costs and an exchange machine in the event of a breakdown, on site assessments, demonstrations and recommendations if required and full safety training, information and manuals.

Details of the package are contained in a new ‘Swan Service Value Checker’ leaflet. For a free copy or to order a 2001 Swan catalogue ring Freephone 0800 91 777 88 or visit the Swan stand (M20) at BTME 2001 in January.
