The 2014 Ryder Cup is a ‘sell-out’ success for Abacus Sportswear

Abacus Sportswear, a pioneer of high-performance stretch waterproof fabrics and an Official Licensee of The 2014 Ryder Cup, has announced unprecedented sales of its garments during Ryder Cup month.
The technical Swedish clothing brand designed an exclusive collection for the 40th edition of The Ryder Cup, which was made available to retailers across Europe, online and during the event held at Gleneagles.

Official 2014 Ryder Cup branded abacus® products (from the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter 2014 collections) included the Swedish brand’s popular Nipton rain jackets, Glade wind jackets and vests and Score fleeces among others.
“It was hugely encouraging to receive feedback from customers about how well our garments fitted, and to hear both male and female golfers discuss the quality and functionality of our fabrics – two key areas we consistently focus on when designing our performance products.
