Thomas Lyte Silver has been appointed an official supplier of trophies, awards and gifts to the European Tour and Ryder Cup Ltd.
As official suppliers, Thomas Lyte will be hand-crafting replica Ryder Cup trophies for the players in the European team and creating limited edition gifts for the team and sponsors, including a replica of an early 19th century golf club in sterling silver to be presented to the Valhalla Golf Club, the venue of the 2008 Ryder Cup in Louisville, Kentucky.
For The European Tour, Thomas Lyte will be responsible for the supply of a wide range of trophies, awards, and gifts.
The Thomas Lyte Silver workshop is responsible for the refurbishment of the FA Cup each year, and has undertaken special commissions for Royal Palaces across the globe, a bespoke commission for Sir Richard Branson – the Bishops Rock Lighthouse Trophy, and has made many well known sporting trophies for clients in Asia, the US, and Europe.
