The team at Ransomes Jacobsen organised a roadshow across the south of England, demonstrating a range of Turfco top dressers, seeders and blowers to golf clubs in the region. Turfco’s Vice President of Sales, Scott Kinkead, flew in from Minneapolis in the USA to tour with the Jacobsen team.
The roadshow visited Thorpe Hall Golf Club in Southend, Knole Park Golf Club in Sevenoaks, Oaks Sports & Golf Club in Banstead, The Wisley Golf Club in Woking and Walton Heath Golf Club in Walton-on-the-Hill.
Products highlighted throughout the week-long event included the combination of the new Jacobsen Truckster XD with mounted Turfco 1550 top dresser, the Turfco TriWave 40 overseeder and the Torrent blower.
Speaking after the final event, Turfco’s Scott Kinkead said, “We had a great week touring the area and had around 60 greenkeepers reviewing the products on display. There is nothing better than letting these guys get hands-on experience of the equipment, and it has certainly raised the profile of the Turfco brand. We’ll certainly repeat it later in the year.”
