Winter offers from John Deere

12.09am 22nd December 2010 - Corporate - This story was updated on Friday, December 31st, 2010

With snow and ice continuing to cause problems all over the UK and Ireland, a new special offer from John Deere is designed to help a range of customers cope, from contractors, local authorities and amenity managers to estate- and homeowners.

Anyone buying a new X700 Series diesel lawn tractor with a John Deere front attachment such as a 54in (137cm) snowblade or 52in (132cm) rotary broom will be able to buy a QuikTatch front hitch for just £1 – a saving of nearly £500.

There are three models in the X700 Series lawn tractor range, all featuring a 24hp Yanmar three-cylinder diesel engine, with a choice of 2 or 4WD or all-wheel steering depending on the model chosen. The heavy duty QuikTatch front hitch enables the user to change implements quickly and easily from the tractor seat, and for multi-functional year-round use there is also a range of mid-mounted side or rear discharge mower decks available, with cutting widths from 48 to 62in (122 to 157cm).

Further advice and demonstrations are available from participating John Deere dealers. The front hitch offer is open until the end of April 2011.

Golf clubs should also ask their dealer for details of this winter’s interest free finance offer from John Deere Credit. The offer applies to all new John Deere golf & turf and commercial equipment, utility vehicles, compact tractors and related John Deere attachments.

Zero per cent finance is available for up to 60 per cent of the retail list price of the equipment, with different programmes available depending on when it is ordered, between now and the end of February 2011 or from March 1 to the end of May 2011; availability is subject to status and to the usual terms and conditions. For further details of this and other current offers, visit www.JohnDeereCredit.co.uk or call Freephone 0800 085 25 22.
