Yas Links Abu Dhabi, recently named among the ‘Top 10 New International Golf Courses’ by Golf Magazine, USA, has appointed leading golf travel and destination marketing agency Landmark Media to handle its global PR and communications.
The Europe based agency will work with the Aldar Properties venue, part of the Yas Island development that also features the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit and Ferrari World, the world’s largest indoor theme park, to establish the course’s reputation in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the USA.
The exhilarating new links, which rides three kilometres of sand hills alongside the Arabian Gulf and features nine seashore greens, has already been named the “best golf course in the Middle East,” by Golf Course Architecture magazine, and is the first design in the region for architect Kyle Phillips, the visionary behind Kingsbarns Golf Links, St Andrews, Scotland.

World Number One golfer Lee Westwood and US Open Champion Graeme McDowell will be among the international stars experiencing Yas Links in January when the world’s most prestigious Pro-Am, the Invitational Tournament, hosted by Abdullah Al Naboodah, comes to Abu Dhabi.
