For more than 20 years, the 300 acre property on which the Berliner Golf & Country Club Motzener See is located has seen many international Golf Tournaments, including the Mercedes German Masters or the Linde German Masters.

The 18 hole championship golf course provides not only a challenge for every golf professional, but is also a true test of every amateur’s handicap. Managed by CCA International, a leader in the development and operation of prestigious clubs in Asia and Europe, the Club also offers an outstanding practice facility – including a 9 hole par 3 golf course – as well as a stunning clubhouse overlooking the golf course.

An increase in new memberships and visitor green fee players have prompted the owners to invest in the expansion of the golf course with an additional 9 hole championship golf course, which is located at the south end of the current golf course property. The symbolic ground breaking ceremony took place in September 2011 and the construction of the new 9 holes will start in spring 2012.

Attending the ground breaking ceremony was a long-term member of the Berliner Golf & Country Club Motzener See – the current Mayor of Berlin – Mr Klaus Wowereit who said: “The Golf Club in Motzen is not only a beautifully designed and well managed facility – it is also an ideal getaway from the busy city life inBerlin. The Club is for sure one of the best golf clubs in the Berlin/Brandenburgregion.”
