Harradine in Kazakhstan

8.07am 27th October 2011 - Course Development

The site of Shuchinsk Golf Resort

Harradine Golf have signed a new design contract with Terra Incognita for an 18 hole golf course in Shuchinsk (Kazakhstan).

The site is located along the shores of Lake Shuchinsk and the slight elevations combined with the existing birch and pine trees will ensure a unique environment.

The 6705 yard Par 72, routing will offer the possibility of holding international tournaments, although the average players and beginners will not find the course difficult as it has been designed to be difficult to score but easy to play.

Special care has been taken to preserve specimen trees and four holes actually play along Lake Shuchinsk.

The club house is central and elevated with great views over the lake and dominating the course which includes a spacious driving range and state of the art training facilities.

The project will include a 100 room hotel, two marinas, 15 chalets and 2 artificial lagoons.

The limited amount of real estate is designed in clusters and away from the course which means that the course can be classified as a “stand alone” facility.
