Hunstanton Golf Club is one of the outstanding links courses in the British Isles and has played host to many of the major amateur championships.

The Club is in sound financial health and is close to completing a significant course improvement and development programme overseen by Gordon Irvine and Martin Hawtree.

The Club now wishes to appoint a General Manager to take the business and the course forward and to lead a strong existing team. The General Manager will have full responsibility for overseeing the management of all the Club’s affairs as well as developing and strengthening relationships with important strategic external organisations and clubs/societies.

This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who wishes to lead a Top 100 Club with great tradition as well as real aspirations to develop further.

Strong inter-personal skills and an appreciation of the important balance between commercial reality and member satisfaction are essential. The understanding or experience of the many responsibilities of golf club management, including accounts, is a given requirement.

A successful candidate will be required to relocate to the area. The appointment will include a generous relocation package.

The Club is looking for leadership, initiative, drive and enthusiasm. It will offer a salary and benefits package worthy of a candidate with these qualities.

Applicants are asked to write to The Captain, Hunstanton Golf Club, Golf Course Road, Old Hunstanton, Norfolk PE36 6JQ. Closing date for applications is 25 January 2016
