Open Solutions fully integrated system puts Craigie Hill GC back in control

Working closely with BeckfordBeck and HandicapMaster, the Open Solutions team makes sure that another golf club is fully satisfied it has the best software and support for all its operational needs.
As part of the club’s renaissance and adaptation to present and future business and market conditions, Craigie Hill Golf Club has been modernising all aspects of its operations, decision making structure and management.
Having had neither a full time manager nor a club professional for some while, the club’s committee had initially decided to replace its old stand-alone till system and membership and competitions administration software, and replace this with modern fully integrated software, expecting this would help to:
- streamline day-to-day operational management,
- generate a much clearer idea of where the club stood in terms of management information and reports,
- and create new income-generating opportunities.
The club was faced with a difficult choice between one-stop-shop systems or a combination of software applications for its EPoS, membership, competitions, player score entry, tee time booking and website needs. Craigie Hill GC’s technology expert Gary Beck and board member Alan Cargill recommended the club went ahead with Open Solutions, BeckfordBeck and HandicapMaster, as all three developers were 100% confident of delivering a top notch fully integrated system for the club.
So Open Solutions’ integrated loyalty card – also known as GPOS – application was set up along with their OSIS back-office management, membership and subscriptions module. This integrates in real-time with the club’s other new software applications; HandicapMaster for competitions management, and BedfordBeck’s MyTeeTime for the club’s online tee time booking system and website.
