Robots Take Charge at Foxhills

The robotic marvels known as ‘TrueBots’ have recently been installed into Foxhills 16 bay driving range, ensuring its continued popularity. Located in Ottershaw, Surrey, Foxhills is an award winning family-owned country club and resort set in 400 acres, just 20 minutes from London Heathrow and within easy reach of London.
A great addition to Foxhills, the robot BallPicker provides the driving range with a constant ball supply, as well as protecting their balls from being plugged or damaged. In addition the robot mower BigMow, promotes a healthy outfield through a unique mulching technique, which allows the finely cut blades of grass to easily decompose leaving no green waste to collect or dispose of.
The TrueBots are part of Automated Managed Services outfield maintenance solution called ‘Range Ball Plan’. A cost and labour saving service that involves no capital outlay for the facility, so they only pay for the balls collected, with grass cutting included in the monthly service price.
“We are very happy with the outfield robots, it has changed the way we operate at Foxhills driving range and while it may take some getting use to how the system works, it is a very much welcomed addition to help us streamline resources and reduce costs. I can only comment positively on Philip and his team, they were very professional, hard working, friendly and very communicative throughout. The installation overall was an easy and smooth process, with minimal disruption to the facility. I would recommend anybody thinking about ‘Range Ball Plan, to do it,” said Chris Reeve, Golf Operations Manager at Foxhills Golf Centre
