The Warwickshire gets £7m investment

12.15am 13th December 2005 - Course Development

The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in Leek Wootton has officially opened the doors to its new clubhouse, which includes a state of the art health and fitness club.
The centrepiece of this investment is a fantastic 5,500sq ft gym which offers magnificent views over the golf course. The 20m swimming pool (with sun patio), sauna, steam room and hydropool is a great place to relax and unwind after a workout or a round of golf. There are two separate pools for children and the Pulse Cafà© and Golf Bar offer an extensive menu.
Thierry Delsol, chief executive officer of The Club Company says, “We are delighted with the result of our investment in The Warwickshire. All the experience we have gained over the years in both developing and building country clubs has been put into this club. This is a club focussed on well being; a lifestyle for the whole family. Together with the 36 holes of championship golf, this investment will make The Warwickshire one of the premier country clubs in the UK”.
The Club Company (UK) Ltd owns and operates eleven clubs in the UK: Nine are already country clubs and Benton Hall in Witham in Essex due to open its country club facilities next summer. There is planning consent to build a country club at the remaining venue.
