Troon Golf to manage Oued Fes

Troon Golf® has announced its appointment at Oued Fes resort in Morocco. The all new residential and leisure development has chosen Troon Golf to bring its industry expertise to bear on a golf project that will enhance not only the Fes region’s leisure attractions, but assist in the progression of Morocco as a serious golf tourism destination.
Created by MEDZ, a subsidiary of the holding company CDG Development as part of its overriding mission to implement government policies aimed at the economic and social development of the country Troon Golf’s involvement in Oued Fes clearly marks the ambitions of the owners for the property.

Located in the tourism hub of Fes and just 12 km from Fes International Airport in the northern territories of Morocco, the resort is ideally situated to attract golfers from some of the mature golf markets of mainland Europe. The multipurpose resort shall be made up of residential, shopping and leisure amenities, with intentions for five star hotels in the not too distant future.
The golf course itself has been designed by highly respected architect Jonathan Gaunt, who has been responsible for some of the finest projects in the EMEA regions. The par 72 championship course caters to all standard of golfer with a variety of teeing options.
