EGCOA Conference websiteThe European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) has today announced that centrally located Amsterdam will be the host city of the 11th Golf Business Conference Europe.

Taking place between Wednesday 2nd and Friday 4th of November, the conference will be held at Novotel Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport.

The 2016 conference theme, ‘the BIG Opportunity”, will highlight the success of many golf facilities across Europe who have taken action to adapt their approach to the fast changing golf market. It also aims to develop new ways to take advantage of the big social, economic and marketing opportunities the sport is currently facing.

EGCOA President Alexander Baron von Spoercken commented: “After the popularity of last year’s event, we are delighted to bringing this conference back to Amsterdam. Since our first event in Amsterdam in 2006 we have seen it grow significantly, becoming the hub for the European Golf Industry. We expect this year to build on our previous success and to be the largest conference yet.”

The annual event hosted by the European Golf Course Owners Association is a once a year opportunity to get up to speed with the latest trends and developments in the European and worldwide golf arena. On average 150-200 (multi) golf course owners, managers and industry professionals from around Europe attend the conference. The conference provides delegates with a unique opportunity to network in a like-minded international environment and to discuss current issues, developments and opportunities with decision makers from all levels of the golf industry.
