FAIRWAY 2002 closed in Munich last Friday with extremely good results for all participants. The 8th Golf Course Congress with Exhibition in the M.O.C. was marked by high visitor frequency and increasing internationality.

On the two days of the congress and exhibition, Thursday 28th February and Friday 1st March, as well as on the seminar day, Wednesday February 27th 2002, 1,957 visits were counted (2001: 1,809), including 445 from outside Germany (2001: 344).

The visitors came from 27 countries (2001: 23) and the 125 exhibitors (2001: 127) from 10 countries appreciated this growth in international coverage as well as in the quality of the visitors. Top marks were given for the programme of accompanying events and the congress
