Help for UK exporters to Germany

8.10am 22nd April 2002 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The European Golf Industry Association has booked a total of 300 square metres of space at Golf Europe 2002, specifically for the UK golf industry. This year UK exhibitors will benefit from government export funding through TPUK up to a maximum of £2,300 per company.

This year’s Golf Europe will take place at the new Munich Trade Fair Centre where 33,000 square metres of exhibition space are available. The fair is strictly for trade only and is presented in association with the PGA of Europe.

The dates are Monday 30th September to Wednesday 2nd October so the event is immediately after the Ryder Cup Match at The Belfry.

The EGIA’s package for exhibitors promises a ‘worry-free experience’. It includes a shell stand scheme, carpets, lighting, display panels and furniture. The services of an interpreter are available and office facilities are provided on the EGIA’s own stand.

The cost of exhibiting with the EGIA is £165 per square metre and this sum also covers the cost of marketing the EGIA group to the European golf trade media. Non-members will be charged a management fee of £200.

Any company interested in taking up this offer is advised to contact Jacqui Baldwin at the EGIA’s Warwickshire offices as soon as possible. Tel: 024 7641 4999 extension 207.
