Incentives for Golf Industry Show exhibitors

8.30am 1st November 2004 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The UK’s national trade association, AEA, together with UK Trade & Investment have been supporting the GCSAA show for a number of years. The AEA has now received a proposal from the GCSAA that will encourage new companies to exhibit at the Golf Industry Show in February 2005 and beyond.
In an effort to develop the Golf Industry Show as an event that offers golf course management solutions to facility owners, managers and superintendents worldwide, GCSAA, NGCOA and the Golf Industry Show partners are committed to providing access to the latest course and facility management education, information and technology from both inside and outside the United States.
Many international companies produce products that support the advancement of golf course and facility management worldwide. They recognize the US as the world’s largest golf market and the Golf Industry Show (formerly GCSAA and NGCOA Trade Shows) as the premier trade show in the industry, but fail to participate in the event due to the tremendous cost of exhibiting internationally. The financial challenges these companies face are compounded by the fact that it often takes several years for an organization to become recognized and established in a foreign market.
To help offset some of these financial challenges, UK Trade & Investment, a government agency, offers subsidy money to companies participating in approved foreign events. For a few years, the Golf Industry Show has been recognized as a UK Trade & Investment approved event. As a result, qualifying companies can receive a contribution towards exhibition costs for three years.
In addition there will be support for exhibitors in the critical functions of exhibiting: networking, marketing, advertising, product demonstration, and conducting client meetings.
The package includes:

They are also offering complimentary registration to future exhibitors and will schedule a tour of the show to learn more about the event. A.E.A. and UKTI will also have a Catalogue Stand so company literature from UK companies is urgently required.
Full details of this package and the Catalogue Stand are available from Debbie Dale at the A.E.A. Tel: 01733 362925 or email export@aea.uk.com
