Munich’s Golf Europe 2010 is a Must

9.54am 30th June 2010 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Golf Europe is back. Taking place once again at the MOC in Munich it provides a unique atmosphere for Europe’s leading golfing trade fair. The MOC is a delightful purpose-built venue on the airport side of town, making day visits hassle-free.

The show runs from Sunday to Tuesday – perfect days for golf pros, so there’s no excuse not to visit! As well as the 220 exhibitors from all over the world, the permanent showrooms offer visitors the chance to see a further 500 sports and footwear labels on the upper floors. For the sports retailer and the golf professional, it is an opportunity not to be missed!

Many leading golf companies are on the exhibition floor- Bridgestone, Callaway, MacGregor, ECCO, PowaKaddy, Motocaddy, Golfsmith, Mizuno, Hi-Tec and many more. They are joined by many smaller firms, attracted more than ever by the greater presence of these major brands. Check www.golf-europe.com for more details.

Smaller British companies who are thinking of exhibiting could benefit from exhibiting with the BGIA (British Golf Industry Association) who have a growing British group participation with support from the UK government. Call Milly Durrant there for full information on how you could get £1,000 from the UKTI. Please note this telephone number 02476 414 999, because it was incorrectly given in a mail shot sent earlier this week.

Travel arrangements can be made through Pressplan Travel. Over 30 flights leave the UK for Munich each day from all over the country and booking flights and accommodation couldn’t be simpler. Pressplan Travel are on 01727 833 600 or bt@pressplantravel.com.

Entrance tickets can be booked at reduced advanced-booking prices on the Golf Europe website www.golf-europe.com
