The 2014 PGAs of Europe Teaching & Coaching Conference in conjunction with Ryder Cup Europe ticket registration process will go live on 2nd June 2014 at 09:00am (BST).
Registrations will be taken using an online submission system on the TCC hub at http://eur.pe/europeanTCC Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are open to PGA Professionals Members of a recognised PGA.
The 2014 TCC takes place on Sunday 21 and Monday 22 of September and will see up to 300 delegates attend education seminars at the beginning of the 2014 Ryder Cup week at Gleneagles.
Day 1 of the TCC will look at introducing the sport and grass roots level teaching with input from the highly successful and Ryder Cup-funded Club Golf Scotland, along with a cocktail reception at the close of the day to celebrate its successful coaching legacy and the “passing of the baton” to France with an overview of their golf development plans around the 2018 matches in Paris.
Day 2 will be tailored towards the elite end of teaching and coaching with subject matter looking at ‘The Coaching Experience from a Player’s Perspective’, ‘Creating a Supportive Environment for Player Development’ and ‘Performance – Working with Elite Athletes’, followed up by ‘An Audience With…’ session to close the TCC.
Already confirmed to speak at the TCC is former PGA of America Teacher of the year and multi-major winning player coach, Chuck Cook. Cook will be speaking about his work with elite athletes at the very top of their game and how he deals with the many and varied personalities, motivations and techniques that these players have in the ‘Performance – Working with Elite Athletes’ session.
Conference Delegates will also be given the opportunity to attend the Junior Ryder Cup at Blairgowrie Golf Club on Tuesday 23rd and to purchase tickets for the Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th Practice Days at The 2014 Ryder Cup.
