UK Golf Industry Leaders in the Spotlight at GolfBIC

Those confirmed to take part in the forum discussion are Nick Pink, the Chief Executive Officer at England Golf; Jim Croxton, the Chief Executive Officer at the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association; Sandy Jones, the CEO of the Professional Golfers Association, Andrew Lloyd-Skinner the CEO of the UK Golf Course Owners Association and Colin Mayes, CEO of Burhill Golf & Leisure and Chairman of UKGCOA.

The session will provide a platform for the representatives of the various industry bodies to discuss the current challenges in the UK golf industry and what is being done to support the sustainability of the game. The session will also include a Q&A opportunity for delegates at GolfBIC to ask any questions they have for the panel of leaders.

Other speakers already confirmed to take part in the GolfBIC seminar programme are CEO of the NGCOA Jay Karen; CEO of the EGCOA Lodewijk Klootwijk; and former GM of the Beach Club Gregg Patterson.

GolfBIC is the Golf Business and Industry Convention and presented by the UK Golf Course Owners Association (UKGCOA) and the Organisation of Golf and Range Operators (OGRO) in association with the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA). The event takes place at Harrogate International Centre on 17th and 18th January 2017 in conjunction with the BTME show and is designed to attract golf course owners and operators, secretaries and general managers and other golf club operational staff to learn, network and get inspiration and ideas to help grow your golf club business.

The event also boasts one of the highlights of BTME’s social calendar with a drinks reception taking place on the evening of Tuesday 17th.
