Promote Training ImageThe Professional Golfers’ Association has recognized Promote Training’s “Driving Green Fee Revenues” eLearning course as qualifying for ‘Continuing Professional Development’ points as part of their Member Education Programme.

Promote Training, the first dedicated eLearning provider to the UK golf industry, launched on 1st June with the first of what will be a series of practically based eLearning courses focusing on a range of skills and strategies needed to manage a successful golf club business.

The PGA have made available the first course, “Driving Green Fee Revenues”,  within their Programme of CPD for PGA members and are awarding any member who successfully completes the course 50 CPD points.

Commenting on the course Michael Abbott, Member Education Executive at The PGA, says, “The course is a worthy addition to our member education online library. It is full of pro-active strategies that can be used to increase visitor, member-guest and golf society green fee income and we see it appealing to PGA Professionals employed in Club Management and operational positions.”

The course, which is also available to non-PGA members via the companies website, tackles issues such as customer data retention, strategies to encourage repeat-play, visitor and member-guest promotions, golf society revenues and advertising media. In addition, it provides all delegates with three free spreadsheet tools that can be adapted to any club and put into action straightaway.

David Reeves, co-founder of the company and Head Presenter at Promote Golf, comments, “This recognition by the Professional Golfers’ Association is testament to the course but also their own goals of offering a wide variety of training and development opportunities for their members. We’re delighted to be a small part of this progressive attitude to education and professional development.”

Using an innovative eLearning platform, the course takes up to 25 hours to complete and can be studied in any location and at the delegates own pace. Promote Training are also giving away £200 worth of eLearning vouchers every quarter on a prize-draw basis. These can be redeemed against this course, or any additional courses coming online soon.
