The new UK Exporter Directory – entries invited now

1.35pm 5th August 2016 - Management Topics

FSPA logoThe Department for International Trade is launching a new export directory that aims to promote British goods on an unprecedented scale.

The Department says: “Potential overseas customers and buyers from global markets will be able to search for UK companies and organisations that will supply the products, services and skills they need. The Directory will be launched in November 2016 and will be supported by international marketing activity to increase and sustain the ongoing demand for UK goods and services.

“The Directory heralds an incredible opportunity for the UK economy and is part of wider government plans for a digital service that will provide a world-leading platform for British businesses.”

Jane Montgomery, Managing Director of FSPA, adds: The directory will help to promote the British sport and play sector for businesses who want to pursue opportunities to export. Post-Brexit, it’s not just about managing the challenges Brexit presents, but also about exploiting opportunities to reach out beyond traditional markets.

“We’ll keep you posted on further developments in advance of its launch in November.
