Golfalot.com Launches Golfalot.TV

1.25am 28th November 2006 - Media

Golfalot.com, which claims to be the UK’s biggest golf consumer website, has launched Golfalot.tv, its own online TV channel with videos focussing on analysis of golf news, equipment and instruction. The channel has launched with unique content and more features are planned for the future.

Talk Golfalot is a ‘behind the scenes‘ news analysis show where leading journalists John Huggan & Lawrence Donegan analyse the latest stories from the world’s golf Tours. The full show can be viewed online or users can opt to only view the subjects from the show that interest them the most.

Golfalot is the official website sponsors of Justin Rose and has exclusive tips from Justin focussing on how to play the game rather than how to swing the club. These are all tips that Justin uses on Tour, with well-reported recent success, and more tips will be launched in the near future from Justin and other players.

Managing director Martin Hopley is excited by the launch of Golfalot.TV saying, “With the increase in broadband penetration, online video is coming of age. As TV golf audiences fall off, online video offers a cost effective alternative to reach a much larger audience. Our in-house production team has over 20 years of film experience and combined with our audience of 95,000 golfers we are confident we can deliver quality online video that golfers will find informative and entertaining.

“Video demonstration can convey so much more about a product than images and text and Golfalot expect more manufacturers to make extensive use of this in the future. A classic example of this is Q-Link and we are pleased that this great product and forward thinking brand is our first product feature.”
