GolfBoo – the all new ‘search engine for golf’ has been officially unveiled to the industry following early praise that it will revolutionise the market and offer an invaluable tool for golf resorts, destinations and consumers.

The digital golf travel portal will become a valuable sales and marketing tool for the trade looking to promote and communicate their services with golfers around the world. Thousands of golf packages and golf experiences have already been uploaded to the site, all of which are easily searchable for golfers looking to find out information and availability for their next golf holiday.

Designed with functionality at its core, this innovative platform will help stimulate consumer feedback through a rating system founded on core golf experience criteria. This in turn will help golfers make more informed and tailored choices when booking their next golf holiday.

One of the GolfBoo’s founders, Antonio Conde remarked: “Society has become so accustomed to using search engines for a variety of day to day necessities. The golf business has traditionally been slow in monitoring general industry trends and this is where we are confident the functionality of GolfBoo will revolutionise the golf booking approach for destinations and consumers.”

Conde continued: “The website will allow golfers to search for golf experiences from all corners of the globe and understand the strength of what is on offer via our unique user driven rating program. In addition, the back end of our system has been designed with the trade very much in mind. Through our ‘DashBoo’ industry section, resorts, destination partners and Tour Operators as well as independent golf courses will be able to manage their own accounts. This will ultimately ensure information on packages, golf course details and facilities are up to date and as appealing as possible for our user base.”

The GolfBoo rating system evaluates key criteria that are considered vital for an enjoyable golf experience and applies a considered and monitored value against these elements. Through advanced mathematical formulas, the ratings system calculates a value that will help guide consumers to the most applicable golf experience for them.

Ratings will be generated by users and existing industry valuations that exist to consider all elements of a golfers holiday. By creating an open forum between users and the trade, GolfBoo aims to become an industry respected benchmark, where via consumer interaction; bookings can be made with confidence.

“We have created a rating system across vital criteria for world class golf experiences,” commented Fabio Peral, Co-founder of GolfBoo. “It is clear for both trade and consumers what is necessary to deliver a memorable golf experience, so we have built the ideal platform that gives golfers the chance to give their feedback.

“This will not only give valuable consumer insight, but will give the trade the opportunity to analyse areas in which they are succeeding, versus areas which need improvement. It will also give our trade partners a glimpse into consumer trends, helping to understand the booking process as well as USP’s that attract golfer’s attention and ultimately lead to bookings.”

The website has been introduced to select industry partners – who have all been rich in praise for the vision, design and functionality of the site. A full consumer launch – with the slogan Before you book It – Golfboo It – is planned for 7th June, where golfers will be able to enjoy the simplicity of fact finding for thousands of available golf experiences.
