square-mile-coverSquare Mile magazine has announced the 2016 winners of its annual golf awards. Returning for the second successive year this December, the leading luxury lifestyle publication for the City of London celebrates the players, courses and kit that have made the biggest waves in the golfing world over the course of the last 12 months.

Expanding on last year’s awards, new categories including best spa, destination, equipment manufacturer and apparel were judged by a panel of experts, including Square Mile’s golf editor Nick Bayly, and editor of Square Mile Mark Hedley.

The winners of the Square Mile Golf Awards 2016 are:

Mark Hedley says: “Whether it’s playing or watching, golf has always had a strong appeal for many people in the financial services industry. It’s always been one of the most popular sports for City hospitality – indeed, golf is currently the only sport that we cover in every issue of the magazine.”

Looking ahead to 2017, Square Mile will be producing extensive monthly travel guides focussing on the best golf resorts in the UK and around the world; profiling the most in-form players in the game; and, reviewing the latest golf apparel & equipment.

Owing to the continued interest in golf by its City readership, Square Mile will also host its inaugural golf day in May, which will bring together readers and some of the best brands from the world of golf.

Square Mile magazine was created in 2005 and is the leading luxury lifestyle publication for the City of London. It is distributed every month to nearly 60,000 affluent business people working in the financial services industry. For more information squareupmedia.com
