Cross Sportswear has unveiled a range of fully co-ordinating apparel for women golfers in its new 2016 collection.
The Swedish pioneer of high performance stretch, breathable and waterproof fabrics – unveils over 40 individual products spanning full waterproofs, windwear, functional and sporty knitwear, polo shirts, trousers, shorts, base layers and accessories.
Cross Sportswear uses great fabrics and innovative FTX technology to promise the golfer absolutely no compromise in functionality and style whilst at the same time keeping the entire product range highly technical and supremely wearable.
The stylish Swedish brand’s Women’s Collection features four outstanding rain jackets (with co-ordinating trousers); eight windproof jackets; four of the most fashionable knitwear products in the market, which co-ordinate beautifully with 11 high-performance polo shirts; nine modern trousers, skorts and shorts; and a wealth of hats, belts and accessories.
Women’s Golf Waterproofs: With endorsement from Sandra Carlborg, the World Long Drive Record Holder, and the cornerstone of the 2016 collection, the women’s golf waterproofs are a triumph of style, design and performance.
The technical rainproof apparel features the outstanding FTX™ System – a three or two-layer sandwich construction consisting of an outer shell, membrane and inner lining which delivers the ultimate 20,000 mm waterproofing and 20,000 g/m2/24h breathability.
As a result, all the women’s waterproofs in the 2016 collection are superlight, soft and quiet, stretchable and incredibly comfortable when playing golf.
There’s a choice of four waterproof jacket styles – the Edge which offers the ultimate Level 1 protection from the elements, mid-range Pro & Pro Zip Off (with removable sleeves) and entry-level Cloud. Matching rain trousers are available.
Lady golfers have a choice of fits – the ultra modern ‘narrow’ or more relaxed ‘regular’ – all garments are available in a full range of sizes (UK 6-18) with three leg length options in the trousers (short, regular, long).
Women’s Golf Windwear: This category features no less than eight products designed to keep lady golfers protected from the wind with no compromise on fashion or style.
Quilted jackets include the fully padded and water resistant Pro Down alongside the sleeveless Pro Down Vest while the Utility Jacket combines a padded front with windproof fabric back and sleeves.
Scandinavian sports styling combines with fashion with the remaining Softshell, Brass, Wind Vest and Wind SS jackets and vests while the Vale Hood hooded top is the perfect additional casual fashion piece.
Women’s Golf Knitwear & Polos: Golfwear that looks as good off the course as on it is evident in the wide range of women’s polo shirts and knitwear offered by Cross Sportswear for next season.
A total of 11 technical polos includes the Flower Polo with its floral sublimation print designs; Push Polo with its a contemporary contrast colour shoulder panel design in five colour choices; and bamboo/charcoal fabric Big Logo Polo, with an oversized Cross logo and contrast colour placket.
There are four knitwear pieces, including the Patch V-Neck in a modern wool/acrylic mix with detailed stretch panels on the shoulders and forearms.
Women’s Golf Trousers, Skirts & Skorts: The importance of fully-co-ordinated golf course attire means Cross Sportswear has launched nine trousers, skorts and shorts to ensure women golfers can complete their outfits.
Trousers include the quick-dry and stretch Rute Chinos (narrow fit) and Slender Pants (slim fit) while water repellency is added in the Rute H2OFF Chinos and Slender H2OFF Pants.
Elswehere, protection from both wind and rain is offered by the Line H2OFF Skort and Rute H2OFF Skort, while capri pants, a base layer, shorts, hats, belts and other accessories complete the picture for women golfers.
Said Steve Shaw of Cross Sportswear. “When you look at the range of styles and designs presented by Cross for 2016 for women golfers and combine it with a choice of five different colour schemes, then it’s arguably the most comprehensive and cohesive collection in the market.
“What players will also find, is that fashion and sport styling are seamlessly integrated with something in the range to suit all lady golfers.”
Working with Cross Sportswear has never been easier with UK banking and a team of seven sales people that covers the whole of the UK.
