ETIQUS launches women’s collection

ETIQUS – the British brand of distinctive, quality timepieces inspired by the game of golf – has launched a stylish watch collection of seven timepieces, designed with the lady golfer in mind.
Like all ETIQUS timepieces, this collection combines quality components, such as Swiss made movements, with golf inspired design features that will be appreciated by those who are passionate about golf. Prices start from £229. The collection is available from www.etiqus.co.uk and a network of accredited affiliates from 25th November.
Gary Butler, Founder and MD of ETIQUS, explains the reasons for launching a watch collection for lady golfers, “About 15% of the 1.5m golfers in the UK are women. Of course, this number is much lower compared to the amount of men involved in the sport, but I believe that avid lady golfers deserve a watch too that embodies their love for the game. For this reason, we extended our initial offering of 17 men’s watches with a women’s collection that comprises of seven stylish and fashionable timepieces.”
Each of the seven watches in the collection has a contemporary and ‘on trend’ look whilst also containing subtle design features that refer to golf, such as the unique dimple patterned face that gives the 3D effect of a golf ball, the red flag second hand and the Butler Bezel originally inspired by the R&A pace of play guidelines. In line with current watch fashion trends, there is a choice of a gold, rose gold or stainless steel bracelets with the option to choose ceramic centre link inserts to add that touch of class.
“Getting the balance right between fashion and function was key for this collection,” continues Gary. “I wanted women to fall in love with the overall look of the watches first and then discover and appreciate the golf inspired design features upon closer inspection.”
The ETIQUS brand launched in July 2014 and has been well received by its target audience of watch loving golfers as well as great reviews from industry journalists. Gaining a following for its beautifully designed timepieces and its association with golf, the brand awareness is going from strength to strength. The launch of the women’s collection is the next chapter in the ETIQUS story and strengthens its position as the only British timepiece brand for dedicated men and lady golfers.
