Golfers who prefer modern technical clothing over traditional cotton polos will love Glenmuir’s Men’s Performance Shirts Collection for Spring/Summer 2011, which features four individual hi-tech fabrics and five brand new shirts.

Lanark, Scotland-based Glenmuir has created a fantastic range of sport-technical polos for the season with the new ‘Jackson’, ‘Vardon’,‘Condor’, ‘Eagle’ and ‘Ambrose’ shirts right at the cutting edge of fabric technology.

The unbeatable Thermocool™, CoolPlus®, Hi-Cool® and CoolMax® moisture-management fabrics are used right across the collection, while UPF15+ sun protection has also been introduced as an additional feature.

The narrow, horizontal striped ‘Ambrose’ features the new CoolPlus® moisture-wicking system, which diffuses and spreads water quickly thanks to its special multi-channel fibre cross-section. This means the golfer’s skin stays dry in the heat and the fabric does not stick to their body. Available in Navy/Hot Pink/White, White/Mango/Black and Mercury/Kingfisher/White the striped pattern also has a textured detail.

The ‘Eagle’ shirt includes UV sun protection properties as well as its own moisture management system as Glenmuir continues to enhance its reputation for giving golfers the ultimate in sports fabric technology.

In three contemporary colours – White/Hot Pink/Navy, Black/Mango/White and Kingfisher/Yellow/Black – the shirt features a printed diamond graphic and sporty notched sleeves. Its bright colours and performance styling make the ‘Eagle’ destined to prove popular with younger players.

Thermocool™, one of the world’s most advanced sports fabrics, is used in the new ‘Jackson’, which comes in three vibrant White/Navy, Mango/White and Kingfisher/White colours. With a zip-neck and smart contrast seam detailing on the shoulders, body and sleeves, it looks as good in the 19th hole as it does on the first.

Glenmuir’s Hi-Cool® moisture management system, which gives cotton-based products stretch, comfort and quick-dry wicking performance, appears in the ‘Vardon’ and ‘Condor’ which both use bright white as a base colour with contrast piping and side panels. ‘Vardon’, is available in Navy/White, White/Mango and White/Kingfisher colours options while ‘Condor’ comes in White/Navy, White/Mango and White/Mercury choices.

New colours are available for 2011 in the popular ‘Performance Club’ shirt, featuring CoolMax® technology, which offers UPF15+ protection alongside first-class breathability and moisture management.

Sizes: S-XXL in all styles. RRPs: Ambrose £43, Eagle £42, Jackson £43, Condor £38.50, Vardon £40, Performance Club £40.

For Spring/Summer 2011 Glenmuir offers a fully-coordinating collection of clothes and accessories with three new and modern colour schemes: Hot Summer where bright pink combines with navy, white and stone; Tequila Sunrise, with stunning mango and peapod accent colours against white, khaki and black; and Cool Waves, where vibrant kingfisher blue sits alongside yellow, black, white and mercury.
