Join Paul McGinley, Charley Hull and Mel Reid to Get More People Golfing
The game we all love has seen numbers of players fall in recent years and continues to do so, but National Golf Month (NGM2016) wants to change that. Here’s your chance both to get involved and potentially bag yourself some new club members and clients.
NGM2016 is happening next May and will focus on introducing more women, juniors, families and men to the game. Every week of the month will be themed for each group to inspire them to try golf and enjoy all the fun the game can give them. This initiative is backed by BGIA and Grow Golf Trust and we have the support of Paul McGinley, Charley Hull and Mel Reid, but for it to be really successful, we need you.
Where to Send 100,000 New Golfers?
NGM2016 will ask over 100,000 people across the UK to try out golf, from free taster sessions, paid lessons, easy-to-find tee times and club open days. Players of all levels will be given the chance to book via our new website (link) but they need somewhere to go to actually play. This is where you come in. We need you to upload what you can offer them, including free events, new player discounts, tailored coaching, tee times and open day events. Whatever golfing experience you want to include, we are happy for you to put on our website.
We Do the Work, You Get the Golfers
It really is that easy. Simply log onto the website, upload your information and sit back and wait for people to start booking. Last year thousands of people used the website and this year we aim to inspire even more people – and you can be a part of it.
ENS, Our Media Partners and Supporters
PR agency ENS (www.ensltd.com) has been appointed to take the media lead for NGM2016, which already has the support of over 40 organisations across all areas of golf and the media, all of which are committed to helping us help you get people golfing. On top of this, golf legend Paul McGinley has added his weight to our work and is committed to helping.
