Adam and Moodie continue to head EIGCA

9.00am 3rd July 2006 - People

At the recent Annual General Meeting held in Mallorca, the members of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects elected Mark Adam and Ken Moodie to the positions of President and Vice President of the Institute. The forthcoming year represents their third term in office.
Mark Adam said, “I look forward to another year in EIGCA’s development since we merged together at the turn of the century. We have come a long way in those six years in representing our profession but we have still some considerable way to go to ensure that golf course projects, new and old, wherever they may be, are handled properly by professional architects.”
Moodie remains responsible for professional development of the Institute and is joined on EIGCA’s Council by David Krause (Treasurer), Bruce Weller, Rainer Preissmann, Peter Fjallman from Sweden and Howard Swan, who continues to direct EIGCA’s student programme. Thomas Himmel, one of Germany’s leading golf course architects also joins the Council.
