Boomers and Swingers @ Astley Driving Range, Manchester is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Tidy as Chief Events Officer. Kelly will take up her appointment in early October in readiness for the start of the winter season.

Kelly is a former Ladies British Amateur Champion and a four-time English Amateur Champion also with 2 Junior Ryder Cup and 1 Curtis Cup Great Britain and Ireland winning team caps under her belt.

Director of Boomers and Swingers Nick Solski commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming Kelly to the team. We have clearly defined goals, and Kelly’s experience will be crucial in attaining those. Our immediate target is to offer innovative products and high levels of customer service to blur the line between golfer and non-golfer, and using Kelly’s experience, offer an exceptional entertainment experience with golf as the medium.

Kelly has worked in golf events management alongside numerous companies throughout her career and has now made the decision to create exceptional golf events and experiences both in the UK and internationally.

Kelly is high impressed with how the driving range appeals to both established golfers and first timers, and is currently working on events that focus more on fun and entertainment than the winner of the gross prize!
