Fraser Dunsmore Joins Lynx Golf

One of the golf industry’s most well-known and respected operators is joining Lynx Golf to assist the fast-growing UK golf brand’s expansion into Europe.

With an impressive CV spanning almost 30 years in the industry, Fraser Dunsmore will have responsibility for developing Lynx’s European network of sales outlets, which already has a foothold in Scandinavia via a relationship with Danish Golf Trading I/S.

In the past two years, Lynx has gone from strength to strength and now has over 600 UK house accounts.

Having recently unveiled a comprehensive new 2016 collection, Lynx owners Steve Elford and Stephanie Zinser believe the time is right to expand into Europe on a larger scale and believe Fraser’s experience will be invaluable.

Said Stephanie: “Fraser has an impressive golf pedigree and we are delighted he is lending us his expertise in penetrating the European market.

“We always wanted to perfect our brand before we made major inroads into Europe, although we have a good presence in certain areas already such as Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and it’s taken us a couple of years to get to that point.

“The reception we are getting in the UK is now so positive that we feel more than ready to expand further by taking Lynx further into Europe.”

Fraser Dunsmore has represented some of the biggest brands in golf, including TaylorMade, Adams Golf, Srixon and Ashworth – where he was European Sales Manager. He has also worked in a variety of roles with Lotto Sport Italia, Callaway Golf Apparel and Bobby Jones.

On joining Lynx, Fraser said: “As a golfer of well over forty years, I can remember the relevance of the Lynx brand from its inception in the 70s, through the 80’s, and into the early 90s.

“As such, I am delighted to be joining the team at Lynx Golf to help them re-establish the brand in the key markets in mainland Europe and the Middle East.”

Lynx is dedicated to supporting ‘green grass’ Pro shop business and to offering exceptional equipment for use by golfers at all skill levels.

It has a comprehensive Ladies range, underpinning its commitment to women’s golf and brings its new Junior range this coming season, 2016.

Its latest entry-level Predator range is already proving popular and includes a fully-adjustable driver for just £139 RRP.
